Templon (τέμπλον) bezeichnet die Abschrankung des Naos vom Allerheiligsten, dem Bereich des Altarraums, vor allem in byzantinischen Kirchen. Aus dieser Schrankenanlage mit Säulen und Architrav entwickelte sich die Ikonostase.
